Great Food and Bar Scene!. I used to work there and still go there every chance I come back to Cali! I suggest it to everyone I know that travels to SD! It’s right off the 5 freeway and the Coaster stop is a few blocks down the street. Great Beach wind blowing around the fire pits outside on the patio! Largest Tequila selection in the SoCal area!!!!

Good food, average bar. I’ve been to this place a many times when I’m visiting Carlsbad. The food is always top notch, if a bit expensive. They have one of the best steaks in town, and excellent chips and salsa. And if it’s cool out, sitting outside by the fires is a great way to spend an evening.Sitting outside though, the music is always turned up way too loud. Even if the band is good (it usually is), I still want to be able to have a conversation while I eat without flat out yelling. And sitting outside on karaoke night was a big mistake! My other complaint was that on Saturday evenings, this place turns into a dance club rather than the laid back bar it is during the week. They were even charging cover! We went elsewhere.
