Excellent experience. Came here for dinner while on vacation. All three of us ate pasta. The service was excellent, nice space and the food was delicious. It ended up being a very reasonable bill we all left full and satisfied (even our picky toddler). A+.
Food taste great after waiting over an hour for our food. Slow and horrible service and the restaurant was only a quarter full.
Great restaurant. My girlfriend and I went here for our two year anniversary and were both really impressed. We were looking up good steak houses in Carlsbad and found this place. It really made a great anniversary dinner. The food was incredible, and served a little faster than we expected. It was the perfect atmosphere for us too – very quaint and romantic. They had live music too, which really set the mood. Service was good; waiter kept coming back to make sure everything was okay, that our drinks were filled, etc. Without question, an A+ for Fresco Trattoria and Bar!
Great Italian!. As a native New Yorker, I’m always looking for those authentic places that serve really good Italian food. Well this is one of them. The apps we had were delicious, and expertly prepared (I should know!), and our entrees to simply divine. Our waitress was very nice and helpful with ordering from their vast wine selection. Bottom line is, if I am ever back in or around San Diego, I will definitely come to Fresco again!
Food was OK. Service was aloof and generally unresponsive if not difficult.
This is a fantastic restaurant! If you happened to be in Carlsbad you should definitely eat at here! Five out of five!
Excellent flavor. Found at least 4 entrees for non fish eating vegetarians. Nice selection of desserts. Bruschetta excellent.
