Love This Place. We have been frequenting Garcia’s for a couple of years now and we love it. Best salsa you have ever had and great margaritas. The food is typical Mexican food nothing to special but the friendliness, location and atmosphere make up for it. From the some what cheesy decor to the sidewalk seating on State St, we just love it here.

The food was excellent, service was great, a little slow on the refils. Very authentic Mexican food, first time in years I didn’t need to ask for more tortilla’s. Highly recommend eating at Garcia’s.Sorry for my other review, the formatting was off on my phone.
Food is good. But what I like most is the nice atmospher and the friendly staff.
Good, not great. Salsa is excellent, as are the tamales and the decor is lively. A better bet than Norte if you’re looking for Mexican in Carlsbad.
Authentic. Superb! That’s all I can say.
