Great family dinner spot!. Ended here by chance after a very long day at legoland. 3 kids in tow and we were inquiring about buying some of their windandsea what to take home to Seattle. .. found the restaurant and decided to have a go. Great smoked gouda burger with fig chutney, hubs ordered the shrimp po boy but we didn’t read description well enough and the jalapeos were too much fit him to handle. Staff were all great. Clean, a bit of noise (so my kids’ level was drowned out a bit :)) this would be a go to spot if we lived nearby.
We had a group of 8. Marginal service and food. Coffee cup served with goo on it. Fish was cold and soup not hot. Don’t recommend this establishment.
Great place. Good beer, I had their wheat, one of their stouts and their red trolley ale. I would recommend any of them. I ordered pesto chicken pasta for dinner; it was very good.
Good Beer Decent food. Good beer selection and happy hour appetizer deals. Cheddar burger was very average, wouldnt get it again. Ginger crusted salmon was a winner.Good service at the bar.
We just ate the, could have been great . Mini is great, but the kitchen took 50 mon to bring our food (which was like warm), shame it could e great.
My husband and I love KS food and great beer…the only negative about this place is the service is horrible!!! The last three servers we have had there have been painfully slow and not attentive. It’s unfortunate because we love the food and beer and we live very close to KS. Worth a try! Hope you have better service than we have had.
If you like BJ’s, you’ll like Karl Strauss (no pun intended ;). The food, beer, & service are all decent.
