For a review of this place, go read all the other bad reviews, with which I wholeheartedly agree. From the tasteless food, to the terrible service, this place is ALWAYS to be missed. The staff acted very put out to have to serve us. There is no food tasty enough to make up for bad service. But not to worry, because the food here is inedible. Come here if you want a craptastic experience!
My daughter and I took the train up from San Diego for a nice Carlsbad experience! We had lunch at Norte’s, formerly Fidel’s, which by the way was awesome. The service was the worst I have had in my life. The waitress was rude. It was as if we were putting her out just ordering. Had to ask for everything and she was not where to be found. We would go in to ask the busser but her just brushed you off. Not sure if he spoke English, but he was rude just waving his hands in the air and saying something?? The food was good and the venue is great, but the service was pathetic!!! NEVER going there again. Come back Fidel’s!!!
This place is a disgrace to Mexican food! I like tex-mex, which this place definitely is not, but I don’t know what you would categorize this as (crap comes to mind.) Anyway, we didn’t even finish. You shouldn’t listen to anyone that states this place is good because they are obviously deranged. P.S. the margaritas are way to tart. Tasted like a bad pre-mix.
