We were craving pizza, so we went to Primo Pizza and Pasta based on a friend’s recommendation and were glad we did. The food is outstanding—simple but perfect Italian food and superb pizza! We had a couple calzones, bread sticks and a pizza and all were the best we’d ever had (and we’ve had plenty, including homemade). Prices are very reasonable and the value was excellent. Service was friendly and attentive and we look forward to a return visit.
We dined in right when we arrived in Carlsbad and just decided this was close and you really can’t go wrong with pizza. We ordered the family meal with pasta, salad and pizza and bread all for under $30. We fed a family of 6 and were completely full and had pizza to take back with us. Everything was very tasty.
I have been eating here for years now, and absolutely LOVE it! Their thin crust pizza is great, their Tortellini Pollo is incredible, and the prices are good too! I have had them deliver before, and they have never been late and the delivery guys are super friendly. Definitely worth checking out!
What a great neighborhood casual eatery. We walked in and it smelled like an Italian Grandma’s kitchen making us very hungry! The linguini with shrimp was delicious as was the Pizza. The food is cooked to order so you can taste the freshness. The prices are reasonable and you get generous portions.
Delicious Pizza! We were very pleasantly surprised, very good dough, toppings and the bread sticks were wonderful. Service was good and for everything we go we thought the price was very affordable.
We ordered pizza at Primo Pizza & Pasta and it was delicious. It was recommended by the guy working upfront and was he right on! What really stood out was that the people working there knew almost everyone who came in by name and often knew what they ordered. It must be a good sign if people keep coming back that often.
Primo Pizza and Pasta has fantastic pastas! I had a chicken, mushroom, tortellini cream sauce pasta and my husband had a chicken and mushroom with marinara and spaghetti. Both good sized portions, the garlic bread was nice, just not sure if the portion we got added up to be over $20 though. Dont get me wrong, it was seriously delicious and we dont regret it, but just comparing it to other Italian places weve eaten, the price comparison wasnt on par.
