First timer. First time here! Came cause I saw they had a salad bar. When I got here an hour before close. The salad bar was up and full. The clerk said it was closed for the night. It took her literally five minutes to break it down. I only wanted one trip! Let’s see how the pizza tastes!
Grew Up in That Pizza Place. I literally came to this place since I was 4 years old. Always held soccer trophy ceremonies, etc. in here so it’s hard for me to let go of the place’s charm of signs everywhere on the walls and arcade video games in the back. The pizza is dirty (not in a drop-it-on-the-floor kind of way) as in the pizza is always the same style of crisp, sometimes nearly burnt and cardboard-like, though reliable crust and yummy tomato sauce with goopy (but not too much) cheese. Can’t say it’s THE best pizza in Carlsbad (Knockout takes that one for me), but it sure does bring back awesome memories of riding the 1 cent pony and puttin my money into the juke box machine.
