My Birthday Dinner at Tuscany. Very, very disappointed! I thought we were going to a peaceful, lovely Italian Restaurant with ambiance, great service and delicious food. Instead, the main room was extremely noisy with TV’s on, no tablecloths or candles and with a wild bar. I was told there was a back room, so that’s where we went. The room was quiet, but nothing else. It was drab, had a stage set up for some entertainment, but there was none, lots of empty tables and very stark. You would think they would at least have nice Italian music playing, but, instead, soft rock filled the air which was entirely inappropriate. The food was just okay (nothing to brag about, just ordinary) and the service was just okay (nothing great). So, all in all, a very disappointing evening (my husband wanted it to be really special for my birthday) and we will never come back.

Delicious!!!!. Best italian food I have had in years served by a knowledgeable waiter in a fun environment. No problem modifying a dish from chicken to veal. A little pricey, but worth it.
Appetizer only. Horrible food, except at the bar at happy hour. Q couple waiters are fun, but not worth the food you get. Sent back there meals in our group. Too many better places to ea near there
Horrible experience! The service was awful (45 minutes just for mediocre bread served with a bad attitude) and the over priced food was even worse. My bland pasta was drowning in what had to be at least a full cup oil. Never again. There are so much better options in Carlsbad.
