Exquisitely delicious. Made my way towards the six restaurant but wasn’t aware of their hours till I got there, so I searched the nearest place so gave it a whirl. Best decision, on top of the food, Marie and her husband were just about the friendliest individuals. Their accents made the experience even more authentic, definitely recommended. The location couldn’t be any more on point, gives you the perfect amount of LA history and French delicacy.
A Bit of France in Westwood, CA. It was about 2:30p.m. on Thursday afternoon……My Son asked me if I felt like taking a walk and having a late lunch.Of course, I said yes. And I am so very pleased I did!The Cuisine, the goblet of Chardonnay, the Dessert and the Ambiance were all excellant! I have already told friends where they can take me for my March Birthday Month breakfasts, lunches and/dinners …………..Cafe’ Chez Marie! Thank-you, for a Bit of France in Westwood, California.

I’ve been discovering Los Angeles restaurants for more than 40 years and only once in axblue moon I come across an experience that has it all…great food, a unique setting, endearing service and warm ambience. This charminging 1935 French Normsndy cottage set along the historic Route 66 with dinning in a garden patio including wishing well and inside dinning room with fireplace playing French music and serving traditional French, Moroccan and Anerican comfort food. Prices make it a bargain and when they begin opening weekends and early evenings with wine & beer it will be that rare hidden oasis that has achieved perfection Where else in Lis Angeles can you really have it all?
A hidden Gem. I eat here every time I visit Los Angeles. The garden patio is hidden from the street so moderately quite. A wonderful place for breakfast and lunch. Am told they will be opening for dinner soon and also finally have a beer and wine license. The food is excellent. The prices are not cheap, but value for the money. They just redecorated and have a new expanded menu, so a lot more choices. For those interested, an interesting place to quietly celebrity watch.
