Just a bit boring. We were a group of five who tried Carmine’s for the first time on Friday night. The restaurant had a nice kind of dark romantic feeling to it and our waitress was very good, but the food was just a bit bland and boring. All five of us ordered something different and were all underwhelmed. The baked ziti with sausage my husband had was pretty tasteless, and the chicken dish I had wasn’t anything to write home about either. None of the dishes even came with anything, not even a side of pasta or veg. And for what it was we thought it was overpriced. We won’t be going back.
