Came to this place twice during my trip and felt I should’ve went more times. The pies here are amazing, first time I try this type of pizza and I was amazed by how it tastes. Waited a while for the order but so worth the wait. Can’t miss !

Best Chicago-style pizza in LA. We just had our first Hollywood Pies pizzas tonight, a cheese and a Chicago Classic. We rate them somewhere between wonderful and amazing. My wife and I are both from Chicago and have lived in LA for over 35 years. For most of that time we have suffered from Chicago pizza withdrawal. We remember when there were three Pizzeria Unos in LA. – one in Brentwood (for only one year), one near the Beverly Center and one in the Notrhridge Fashion Center. The one in Northridge was the last to close after trying to make a go of it even after the rest of the shopping center had to close following the Northridge Earthquake. We eagerly seek out Chicago-style pizza wherever we go. We try to stop at Lou Malnati’s whenever we are in Chicago and my sister has Lou’s pizzas sent to us for Christmas. We have only a few minor suggestions: My wife had the cheese pizza and thought the tomato sauce was just a bit too spicy. I had the Classic and thought the garlic was a bit too strong and that it needed a little more oregano, but then I add oregano to Lou Malnati’s pizza.
