Good food- Slow Service. The original Jack n’ Jills has much better service and toasty mini muffins, but this location still has good food. Just wished my mini muffins would’ve come out toasty instead of soft from the microwave.
Best dining experience since I’ve been in los Angeles. Loved the textures and flavors of everything. To cap off a perfect experience our check was presented with pomegranate tootsie pops.:) loved it and will definitely be going back.
Good food!. Now called Jack n Jill’s Too, it’s one of the places I always come back to. They offer breakfast, lunch, and dinner too. Not just dessert. The staff seems friendly, and the service is good. Your waiter/waitress will write their name on the table, so you can call them if you need something.I think the Crepes Benedict is a must to get for breakfast. For lunch/dinner, the Choudrant for pesto goodness. I recently tried their sandwich: Roasted Turkey & Brie Croissant. If you order it with gumbo, which is part of side, you can also dip the sandwich in the gumbo. The croissant made it taste so good.If you have room for dessert, I would definitely try the banana pudding.
Great Experience. Out of curiosity, I had to try this place out. Walking along Robertson this past Sunday, I couldn’t help but notice the crowded patio in front of this new joint. It turns out that it was their first weekend open. The place is rather small, but very nice, with a cool coffee bar area and lots of patio seeting. The food was a pleasant surprise for me. The crepes were nothing like I expected, and for me, that is a very good thing. These crepes were enormous and full of flavor. Unlike the French crepes you are probably used to, these are big enough to satisfy anyone. Now, I’m not normally a desert man, but seeing the tables around me with these absolutely gorgeous desert crepes got the best of me. I shared a chocolate (or Nutella?) banana pudding crepe with ice cream with my wife, who, after her first bite, began competing with me for every bite. All in all, it was a great experience. The food was absolutely perfect, and the staff was friendly and attentive.
