Do not miss this rare and awesome place. Gourmet food, short menu, fusion restaurant. Indonesia and Vietnam meet New Mexico. Do not miss the chance to try a phorrito, yes a pho burrito!

Service was top notch especially Brianna who explained in friendly manner every question i asked about the food. Other employees were friendly, attentive and my drink was never empty. Lets talk about the food, i ordered truffle fries and killer combo. I really enjoyed every single bite of those 4 tacos (sorry i cannot remember the name for each taco, please see my pictures), the truffle frise were the bomb (its a must). I got full but i couldnt stop eating the fries. By the way, the lychee drink was good and free refill 🙂

Never got around to trying the Komodo food truck so stopped by the cafe and can honestly say this is a place I gladly recommend to anyone.I’ve been three visits now. You can’t beat the price of any of their three combos (Killer, Deadly, or Lethal) for $10 that will most definitely fill you up. To go along with those portions, the food itself is packing tons of great flavor. The tacos can be hit or miss but that varies per person. Not in the since that they aren’t delicious but more in the sense of what you’re into and there’s many choices when it comes to the fusion of the tacos. My favorite by far is the MP3 taco. It has the best flavor of all I’ve tried so far. If it wasn’t for me wanting to try all of the flavors…I’d stick with all MP3 and would never grow tired of it. Its that good!!!I’ve also tried a couple of plates like the kimchi nachos that will more than satisfy both kimchi and bacon fans. I’ve also tried the miso marinated steak. I ate this slowly just to savor its awesome taste. That’s no joke, I really did eat it slow LOL. Last, I’m a huge crab cake fan so quite naturally I’m going to recommend the crab cakes with the curry aioli. Really good flavor! If you’re into ramen then the indomie burrito will suit you just fine. Never thought a burrito stuffed with ramen would taste so good. I’ve brought both family and friends with me here and we’ve all raved over the food. I recommend Komodo to anyone looking to try an awesome spin on tacos, burritos, steak, etc.Visit Dates 11/20/2015, 2/15/2015 and 11/11/2014

If you have not been go. I spent 3hrs in their kitchen before and during lunch and it rocks. Amazing menu that is very health driven, large portions and won’t cost you an arm and leg (Chef Erwin Tjahyadi told me he grew up in Bellflower and this is how they roll there). The kitchen had harmony, efficency and was as clean as I have every seen a kitchen. McDonald’s should hire Chef Erwin Tjahyadi to revamp their antiquated menu.. facebook.com
