This little place that appears to be in s small house on San Vicente has been around for 25 plus years. The space is a little outdated but it only adds to its charm. The Paella is pretty good but not great. The tasty sangria you can pair it with is pretty darn good. The rest of the menu is pretty good. Depending on the number of people dining the service can go from great to where is the waiter. It is definitely worth a try.

Great first dinner here. Wanted to find an authentic Spanish restaurant in LA after having a wonderful meal elsewhere. Old fashioned restaurant was somewhat of a relief. Made me think the emphasis might actually be on the food. We ordered off the Appetizer menu: great spicy potatoes, seafood ceviche, grilled octopus. Skip the Sangria, next time I’ll order wine. Chocolate Mousse dessert was a surprise to finish the meal. Attentive service. We will definitely return.

Casa de La Paella. Charming, delicious, centrally located, hospitable and reasonably priced. Are we in Spain, or what?!

Elegance in Rice. The name says it all – La Paella serves a wide variety of Spanish and some Mediterranean delicacies, along with a moderate selection of tapas…but…it’s the paella you must come for. Your order is custom-made, meaning you’ll be waiting about 20-30 minutes, but it is genuinely worth the wait. One of the prettiest restaurants in the area, located adjacent to Restaurant Row on La Cienega.
