wine was amazing. food was amazing. service was amazing. the place was amazing. This is the right place for a perfect Romantic dinner.I ordered Grilled Filet Mignon with a Green Peppercorn and Tarragon Port Wine Sauce with Roasted Fingerling Potatoes and Butternut Squash Pure. $42. I could of done without the squash puree…. Our appetizer was Wild Arugula, Shaved Fennel, Pink Lady Apple and Roquefort Cheese $16 Wine: $? I love this place. Its now one of my favorite restaurants. But its really pricey.
My boyfriend took me here for a date. It had the loveliest atmosphere, almost out of a movie. Pictures would not do justice, so although I attempted to take a photo of the ambiance with my iPhone, I deleted it shortly after.This little french restaurant is competitive with its prices but I suppose with the decoration of the place, the overall mood and the food justifies it.We ordered a duck confit, and the rack of lamb and it was absolutely fantastic.Service was great.Overall, I had a great experience. franklyidgaf.com
The Little Door has really big prices and really medium quality. The service was good. I orderd scallops and they were prepared nicely, but two of them were small and two were large, inconsistent for a $42 plate. What gives this place the edge is that it is a great place for a romantic date. Don’t order coffee, it was bad…the coconut cheesecake was delicious, but I think it was $18….hmmm.
Awesome ambiance and food. The staff is great: my date was late, and I had forgotten my phone. They were helpful in helping me contact her. While at the bar, asked to try one of the white wines, and liked it, but the bartender wanted me to compare it to another wine just to be sure. Also gave me a sample of their rum. For an appetizer had the Zucchini Carpaccio and it was very nice, and beautifully presented. Shared the Halibut and an entre. It was incredibly fresh, and properly cooked so it was nice and moist in the middle. Shared desert was the Chocolate Macadania caramel tart, and it was also exceptional. However was a quite expensive.
Have not made any reservation, asking the host to sit down to wait at the bar for glass a red wine. if they have a table open would take on stand by or may serve at the bar, there are a group of investment baking ask me what kind the red wine do i have, I am asking the bar tender extend a glass to one gentelmen ( found out latter on he is president of MSN). he said this is surprisingly impressive wine then invite me to join with the group and they have order fewer bottles the same red wine.Note: Little Door have a exquisite collection of the wine.the host have come by with my the rest of the bottle escort to the table, was request a separate check before inquire an appetizer remarkable Mussels with bred and tender and grilled Rack of Lamb with couscous are phenomenal.Ambiance and Hospitality service are fantastic
It’s a nice enough venue but the food is all over the map – inconsistent. And the clientele is a throwback to Las Vegas in the 70’s with lots of gold chains, shirts open to the navel and tight polyester pants. It was just odd.
Very good restaurant. Romantic, fine dinning and good food. Just I little expensive. If you need a restaurant for a date or special event it’s the right choice
