Large variety on the menu. This is a funny little place I’ve changed my mind about over the years. First of all it frustrated me because I could never track the hours of the store. I’d laugh with friends as we’d try to go on a random Tuesday at 4pm and it’d be closed but other times on a random Wednesday it would be open at midnight. They finally seem to be staying open every day, throughout the day, til relatively late. Funny reason to like a place?Well, let’s get to the food. Unlike most places, especially kosher places, this one has a big menu. MANY items to choose from. It offers breakfast, lunch and dinner, and all are fair priced.I can say that the baked potato with cheese (forgetting the name they use) is delicious, the personal pies I’ve had have been really good and more than enough to fill me up, which is saying something since most personal pies leave me a bit hungry.Oh, and they have my favorite soup – onion soup – and it’s good!Big variety, fair prices, and open late? I’m finally sold.

If you are not Jewish do not come here. We were mistreated by the waiters and the other customers there. Everyone starred as we walked in and no one bothered to greet us until after a few minutes. Seeing that this place is extremely small and full of Jewish people a crowd of Chinese and Mexican Americans or minorities were looked down upon. I wanted to ask pico cafe if we smelled because all they could do was stare unpolitely. It was enough for us never to go back. Never in my life have I felt so discriminated against didn’t get a chance to try the food but they probably would’ve spit in it had we had there.
