Did the 19 bite menu appetizers and drinks, ended up about $270 per person. All the food was nicely plated, but half the food was a poor balance of taste. Maybe they rely on the typical American palate and tispy customer taste buds. Cost certainly not reflective of taste however I was impressed by the prep and plating of the food. I understand this costs money in terms of chefs and staff, but for me at this price level the food should stand on its own in taste and blanace. Recommend to try to entrees rather than the full tasting experience.
My friends showed me this place while I was visiting LA first time. They told me that its a restaurant of weird things. I would say the food presentation and the ambiance was really impressive and surprising. The food was delicious but the portions were small, I dont know if its good or bad. Good for those who wants to try everything and bad for those who is starving. ;)If you like odd things you definitely should visit this place.
