Frozen food heated in the microwave. Low quality much better Italian elsewhere. Kitchen seems to be staffed with college kids earning minimum wage, which makes the prices even more puzzling. When we were there we sat near the kitchen an I could every single inappropriate comment they made. I think these folks are screwing their customers. How they survive I’ll never know, but the other reviews are proof there’s no accounting for taste.

I do, however, like that they are willing to feed 30 people at 6am in the morning. Their service was speedy and the food wasn’t bad.
Different, sawdust is their signature. It’s a very interesting setting with the sawdust all over the floor. I’m not so sure it would be a good thing to take somone there if they have any issues with breathing. I’m pretty sure they change it out frequently. They open early and have very good breakfists. In the evening or at lunch they can get busy so not the best place to go if your in a hurry. The one on Esplanade has a really nice private area that great for parties of 8-12.
Red Sauce. Pretty standard Italian red sauce joint. French dip on lunch menu is great. Get the spaghetti and meatballs and a glass of cheapo red wine and call it a night.
Sawdust floors are great fun for whole family and I would reccomend it to all who read this reveiw it is very good food it is one of the best Italian resturant in the county
My Old Standby. I like the sawdust floors and cute waitress outfits. I think the french dip has stood the test of time – both in quality and pricing. Try the antipasta salad, you won’t be disappointed. Something for everyone.
