Yummmm. I didn’t know what all the hype was until I tried a Nobby burger. Whoa! It was off the chart good!!! Yes it is cash only, and yes you may have to wait (although the hot tip is to call in your order then come by and pick it up.) GOOD FOOD TAKES GOOD TIME. I love this place!
Do not go here if you are on a diet!!!!! This is the best cheeseburger and fries ever! Melty cheese!!! Mmmmmmmmmmmmmm
Kinda pricey, but super yummy! Have to get a cheeseburger, if you don’t enjoy a slab of melted/ amaIngly made/fried goodness on it then stay away. Otherwise youll love it!!!!!!!1!!

I grew up in a small town in Connecticut – my parents would take us to this diner located a few towns over for lunch every once in awhile and it was by far one of the highlights of my childhood. I recall these burgers being about as big as my head (mind you I was a little guy no older than 10 at the time) and a crown of cheese surrounded the top of the bun. When I moved to Chico one of my roommates brought me here and I flipped – I had been taken back to my childhood. It was so great that I even took a photo of the burger and sent it to my family members who asked what I was doing in Connecticut. Nobby’s burgers are great – the soft bread and slightly greasy (in the good way) burger will leave you full for hours – the only reason I don’t eat here more than I do is because they are cash only. It is a staple of Chico for friends and family members to visit.
Best Business Plan,ever!. This place should be an example to anyone wanting to have a restaurant that is simple and executed well!I hat burgers, but this place changed my mind. Best burger ever, I love this husband and wife team of food experts.
