Good. Sushi was good and fresh, but expensive. Still a must try.
The atmosphere was atypical for Chico, it had a much more urban feel which was refreshing. The food left something to be desired. It was rather bland an generic, some of the items looked store bought and microwaved. The service was also somewhat lacking, but not bad. With the variety of Asian food options in Chico, Ojiyas prices and lackluster menu only serve to shoot itself in the foot.
I went here for prom. The portions are big but not as big as you’d expect by the price of the food. The service was quick and the server was entertaining. I opted out (since I was in my prom dress) and chose to get a rainbow row from the sushi bar. Not bad, but not great either.
Good, not great. If this is your first experience with teppanyaki style dining, then you will probably love it. For those that have been to similar style restaurants, you aren’t missing much. You get the ‘cook at the table’ show, pretty good food and a hefty bill. Better alternatives would be Benihana or Kobe in Redding.
Im here night now for my birthday. its awesome
Good atmosphere, good service but not the best sushi in Chico. For the money the sushi wasn’t that great.
