  I’ve been seeing a lot of this place on Instagram so I stopped in on a Saturday night to ease a sugar craving.I arrived to a small little cafe with vintage decor and a few tables. There were also a couple of couches that gave off an old school den/garage vibe. I pretty much knew what I wanted before arriving so I went straight to the register and ordered a ube leche flan cupcake and a mini ube monster milkshake.The cupcake was thick but taste pretty good. The flan on top was decent and provided a cool feeling when chewing both the cupcake and flan together. Both flavors didn’t collide allowing the two to mix well. I didn’t think to do so at the time due to ordering a milkshake but that cupcake would have went great with some milk. I’m a sucker for a carton or glass of milk with any sweet pastry I eat.The winner of the night was the ube monster milkshake. The shake was perfectly blended, not a single chunk of ice nor large chunks of cookie to block the straw when sipping. I didn’t say earlier but the ube monster shake does have Oreos blended into it so imagine a cookies & cream milkshake but done with ube. My only regret with this was ordering a mini when I should have ordered a normal size. I finished it too fast. I’ll know next time.The two items I ordered peaked my curiosity for other ube infused items on the menu so I’ll be stopping by for more snacks. The ube bread pudding will be my choice for next visit along with some milk this time around and more ube monster.Visit Date 10/15/2016
