Addiciting! so difficult not to think of the house pan. Place is kinda small. And it fills up quick so id suggest to try comin before peak hours, may be around happy hrs…beer is nice cold n price is cheap compare with the bigchain around the area. Im definitely a fan of this place. They got a great variety of options to keep you comin back. My favorite is of course the house pan. Sauce is pretty thick and it goes really well w the bread they give you so you can use it as a dip. I always find myself comin back when im in socal cuz there isn’t any place like this in pomona area.
The Boile. WeI love this place. Great service and great food. You have to order the Cajun Callamari for appetizer. Start up with the clam chowder. And anything else you want. The gumbo, jambalaya and etoupee are good. Not a fan of the House Pan. You also get to choose your heat/spicy level.
The restaurant had every chance of being appealing. It fits a niche in the neighborhood that is sorely lacking. I have been there twice for lunch and was disappointed. I gave them a final change for dinner. The beer was nice and cold. The oysters weren’t bad. The service is great. The reason I will never go back is the lack of seafood in my Bouillabaisse. For $21.55 you should get more than 2 shrimps,2 mussels ,2 pieces of fish,2 pieces of langostine and 2 unopen clams.
Addicting. It’s hard to find something unique in Chino Hills as most restaurants here are a chain. Like most people, I initially ignored The Boiler thinking it was just another restaurant in a strip mall. I was beyond surprised when I went in. This is the best food I have had in a long time. The jambalaya is amazing and so are the roasts. It ends up costing about the same as going to one of the more common restaurants like BJ’s or California Pizza Kitchen, but the experience is more comparable to fine dining cajun without feeling too stuffy. The Boiler is always busy at dinner time, but I haven’t had to wait longer than 10 minutes. I almost don’t want to tell people about this place because I don’t want to start waiting longer!
Great Place Excellent Food. We had a small meeting at this restaurant. The management was accommodating and the appetizers were delicious (especially the shrimp). Rumor at the table was that many of the Roast meals were excellent. We are lucky to have such a great place in Chino Hills. We had a small group meeting at this restaurant. Management was very cooperative in establishing a place for our group. The food (we had the appetizer sampler) was excellent especially the shrimp. One member who had visited the restaurant several times indicated the Roasts were to die for. Check website before you go.. open for lunch and dinner. kid and handicap friendly. Incredible!!!. I live in Chino Hills and frequent the Lowes in the new plaza and drove by this place all the time. I always blew it off, seemed like a typical strip mall place. Then it got my curiosity up one day and I went in to look around and picked up a menu. I went back and had the most incredible dish, the Pan Roast Lobster. Off of the charts. I had it over linguini instead of rice. I literally woke up thinking about it. Once I find a food I like I always order the same thing. When I went backthe next day, I got the same thing and my wife got the Cioppino which then presented a dilemma after I tried some of hers, now I can’t decided which I like better. Appetizers are awesome, salads are awesome, there isn’t anything there that isn’t. If this place had a better location and more exposure you would never get in. I’ve traveled the US and Western Europe, ate at great restaurants all over. Been to the Montgomery Inn in Cincinnati which is always one of my favorites, eaten in New Orleans and countless places in 43 different states. This place is my favorite and it is only 3 miles away. Thank you guys for opening your restaurant so close to me.
