This place is a hidden gem in Chula Vista, try the birriatatemada, or the quesadilla ahogada. I promise you won’t regret it. The service is always friendly too.
It was horrible. I’ve been there many times and the last three times the food and the service were rotten. I would not go back. The goat quesadilla with corn tortilla was cold and soggey.
My wife and I ordered birria de res, it was amazing…I’ll be a frequent customer.
The birria (both res and chivo) are above average. However, portions are small, especially for what you would get on nearby Tijuana for 2/3s of the price. Service was warm and friendly. 3 stars, liked it but did not blow me away.

Small hole-in-the-wall taqueria with a simple menu painted on the wall consisting of tacos or other Mexican dishes. Great authentic Mexican tacos will transport you directly to Mexico temporarily.
