They are really rude here and the food is crap . I ordered 3 rolled tacos with everything and I get 3 tacos with old guacamole only and they are all rolled together in wax paper and smushed up wow worst rolled tacos ever
To springboard off a recent review, the ’90s were the hey-day for abundance of food at an inexpensive price, but hey now – we have shows like the Biggest Loser to give is second thoughts. I will say prices were nicer before, but ingredients aren’t as they were $$$. Having said that we actually frequent the Telegraph location, but a word to the wise – CALL AHEAD and order. It takes me about 5 minutes one I enter and exit, so know what you want to order then call fir pick up! For carne asada fries, we tend to go here but for c.a. chips I go to another spot in Terra Nova (H St)
I’ve been going to Lolitas for about 4 years and over the course of these 4 years I think that the serving has gone down. I remember ordering carne asada fries and having an abundance of meat and now I normally have to ask for extra meat which means extra $$.I like their food but hate the wait and quite honestly I have found other fast food mexican restaurants that are just as good as Lolitas.Two weeks ago I went to their restaurant on a Friday night around 6 pm and waited 39 minutes for a bean/cheese burritos. I kid you not – Yes 1 order of bean/cheese burrito.
I went to this place to eat and am currently still waiting for my order to be filled. How hard is it to make 2 fish tacos? After 25 minutes I cancelled my order.
