We went here for our anniversary, and absolutely loved it. The dining room was a little congested, but the area in the back was more comfortable. Food, service, and wine lists were all good. We are actually considering going again before we leave San Diego for good.
He doesn’t know it yet, but I am in love with Javier Plascensia. His food is just amazing. I have Romesco to thank for introducing me to him as it was the first place I had his food and I’ve been hooked since. I love the huge menu at Romesco, whether you want tapas to share or traditional entrees, they have a ton of selections for everyone. The presentation is always great on each dish and the flavors are impeccable. They recently did away with one of my faves, the Greek tavern style calamari, but there are still so many awesome choices! The tamarind martini and margarita are both great to pair with just about anything on the menu. It’s so nice to have a restaurant of this caliber in the south bay, there aren’t too many! stylishlysocial.com
