The best most authentic Cuban food outside of Miami with nice ambience and Cuban music playing. Very flavorful chicken fricasse, black beans (get the white rice and top with beans), plantains not the tostones and lime tart wash it down with a mojitos.

Tasty addition to the Asian heavy area of Claremont mesa blvd restaurants. I got the specialty lechon Cuban roast pork dinner with white rice and black beans. My daughter got the papas rellena croquette stuffed with seasoned beef and a tasty spinach salad. You order at the counter and pick a seat. Even though only 1 couple a head of ya the food took a little time but was delivered hot and very tasty. The lechon was moist and flavorful and the black beans were equally tasty. Gotta try the el cubano sandwich next time.
