Hostess and female waitresses really have bad attitudes! I don’t know why but enough to change my review to I don’t like it!30 Jan, 2011Vegan does not equal healthy! We thought our experience was good especially as new vegetarians, different flavors and tastes based on what we have been eating for the last few weeks. Pros: good sized portions with reasonable prices. However, I expected a place with great and new ways of preparing veggies and really all Sipz is an Asian restaurant that uses tofu instead of meat. Waitstaff is fair and service is a bit slow overall: 2.9 of 5 stars.
Best Pho for Vegetarians. San Diego wouldn’t be San Diego without restaurants like Sipz that serve us very few vegans. I’ve been to this restaurant for years and my favorite all time vegan dish is the vegetarian pho. Just talking about it makes me want to go out and grab a bowl. DELICIOUS!!!!!!!!

Love it. We love this vegetarian restaurant in San Diego. The decor is perfect and the friendly staff is charming and lovely. Their vegan food is consistently good and well-priced, I especially enjoy the vegan desserts.

Sipz Vegetarian Restaurant. I live in Clairemont since birth and this is one of the best things that happened to Clairemont. Sipz is basically the first vegetarian restaurant in this neighborhood and everyone embraced it. I read prior reviews and they complain about service, but what can you expect of a vegetarian restaurant that has pricing like a fast food restaurant. I personally don’t mind that they take the time to prepare my food fresh and hot. The portions are big and the pricing compared to other vegetarian restaurants is very reasonable. This is the best vegetarian restaurant in San Diego period!
The service at Sipz was the worst I have ever experienced in my life. Extremely rude waiter. Food was as expected. Decent desserts, but the smoothies were awful. Can not stress enough how much I hated Sipz. I would rather eat food from my neighbors trash than eat at Sipz again.
