We went for the buffet lunch which works out to about $20 / person after a tip. The food looks kind of drab and is presented in a drab manner BUT most of it tastes pretty darn good and runs the full middle eastern flavor spectrum from pistachio to rose water with a detour through savory pickles and chickpeas. I was initially skeptical about a couple of odd looking items but convinced after tasting them.I’m always on the lookout for good baba ghanoush which I prefer to hummus and hoped to find it here though curiously the hummus was excellent, nice and creamy and perfect with the steak kabob, while the baba ghanoush was only average. Like most buffets, you should go easy at the start of the line and hold out for the warm soups, kabobs, and roasted vegetables towards the end of the line. Pick up a few deserts too; they go really well with their good cardamom tea.The interior is nothing special and service is inattentive. Faster tea refills would be welcome. They have a modest stage so I presume a lot of Persian social events are held here.
