Was disappointed. Well perhaps I didn’t go there in the right frame of mind!Having grown up in the Virgin Islands I was so excited to try a place that seemingly would offer those amazingly flavored and intricately season Puerto Rican cuisine. I was excited to see all the familiar items in the grocery part of the restaurant too which fueled my appetite! Also I had just finished watching Andrew Zimmer’s off the beaten path special on Puerto Rico so I was really hungry for home!It occured for me as if the kitchen perhaps had more central American roots rather than puerto rician and the food seemed rather bland versus what I’m used to!
