One of Our Regulars. Every time we go we have a wonderful meal. My husband is a meat guy and has loved every dish he has ordered. I’m a pasta girl and love the lasagna. Portions are good and bread will fill you up if you are not careful! We have always found the wait staff to be attentive and responsive to requests.
It Does What It Does Quite Well. Three of us went for dinner here recently. My sister and I had exactly the same meal: cream of tomato soup (the special of the day) and Gnocchi al Gorgonzola. Her husband had a basic Insalatina (mixed greens with fresh tomatoes, Kalamata olives and shredded carrots with a extra virgin olive oil and red wine vinegar dressing) and a spaghetti dish with assorted vegetables in an olive oil based sauce. We all liked our first courses, although I thought the soup could have used a little more basil and a little less cream- the tomato taste didnt come through for me like it should have. The entrees were outstanding. I hate using clichs, but the Gnocchi al Gorgonzola was to die for (and with all that cheese and cream thats exactly what will happen if you eat it too often!). It was really, really rich but off the charts delicious. The other pasta dish was also excellent, and we also had a very nice Chianti for a reasonable price. However, there is a little room for improvement. This place focuses on pasta, pizza, calzones and traditional dishes like lasagna and has limited meat and potato offerings. I counted only six of them on the menu. There ought to be more. Also, the service was a little slow. There was only one waiter working the dining room and although he was good, another waitperson was needed. Still, my only experience here suggests that it does what it does quite well.
Little snacks. My husband and I go to La Parolaccia at least once a week and we love the Goat Cheese/Arugala pizza along with the sliced tomatoes and Gorgonzolla cheese, it’s the best .We love all the employees, they always greet you with a smile and if you know them well they will hug you when you arrive and when you leavelLOVE THIS PLACE 🙂
Keep it simple. Order bruscetta and a margherita pizza and you can’t go wrong.
It’s heaven and perfection
We had a great meal and great service! It was a lot of food which is always good.
The best Italian food ever:). The food that I had tonight was exceptionally good. I ordered the quattro formaggi pizza. I was just waiting for the four cheeses melting in my mouth and amazing wine that is always good. After I finished my dinner I was just stuffed with the amazing dinner but I had to have dessert. I ended up ordering the limoncello that was filled with lemony goodness. So after the quattro formaggi pizza and the lomencello I have to give this restaurant a good review
