Solid food, excellent mgmt. We popped into Saca’s based on US recommendations and they were pretty much spot on. The food was totally solid, the staff super professional, and the owner up front making sure that both the staff were working smoothly and the customers were happy. We had a falafel combination plate. The hummus and babaganous were tasty, the pita nicely warmed, the falafel nicely cooked, and a side of deep-fried cauliflower a nice addition. My only negative comment would have to do with the cost of drinks. If I’m not mistaken my wife grabbed a small cranberry juice (standard ocean spray) and it was just shy of $3. The price of the falafel platter was totally reasonable at just over $7. The fried cauliflower was $4, but was a very generous portion. Given those costs the drink price really stood out as being disproportionally high.Bottom line: we’d go again, and I guess that’s the highest compliment.

Im Definitely Ambivalent About This Place. Saca’s Mediterranean Cuisine is a small, informal restaurant featuring Mediterranean and Middle Eastern food. Order at the counter, get your self-serve drink and plastic silverware, wait for your name to be called and go get your food. Its not great food, but it is okay. Two of us had the Roasted Rotisserie Chicken, myself with fries and my brother in law with a salad. The chicken seemed under seasoned and the breast meat was definitely somewhat dry. My pita bread was also dry, actually even crunchy in places. My fries, however, were first rate. My sister and brother had a sandwich and salad respectively, and thought they were pretty good. Overall I would say that this place is nothing special, but not bad either.

Hummus is excellent. Pricing is very affordable and if you are looking for felafel this is the place to go. Best food in the village in my opinion. Will go back for sure!

Excellent Food & Service!. Saca’s is hands-down the best in Mediterranean food in the area. Their mouthwatering falafel is just one of the many reasons I always stop at Saca’s whenever I can! The staff is always so friendly and personal they make it a point to greet you and make your visit enjoyable. The hummus and tabouleh are great, but then again everything is so great you can’t really choose just one thing to be your fave. Check out Saca’s next time you’re in Claremont!
