Truly just a mediocre experience. Not bad, but no reason to go again. The staff were nice buy not particularly attentive, and the happy hour menu is very limited.

More of a bar hangout. We came here for dinner on our 1 year anniversary (of dating each other). I had heard about this place and how great it was. So I suggested The Press as an option for dinner. So we drove on over for dinner. The place was somewhat busy, especially in the bar area. Our server took us down to the dining area and then we sat and waited… and waited… and waited. We ordered our food but it took forever for them to bring it out. When we did finally get the chance to eat, the food was only okay. It wasn’t great, especially for the price we paid. By the end of dinner we started noticing more people coming into the restaurant. I think it’s a college hangout for the Claremont Colleges so a lot of students come here late for an evening out. The Press has really late hours to accommodate this.I think The Press is more of a bar establishment hangout instead of a place to eat dinner. Even the appetizer menu sounds better than the rest of the dinner menu. So I would probably just go for that.
