I’ve been living in Concord for the last almost 3 years and for some reason I never discovered this restaurant. Luckily this restaurant came up in my search results yesterday and my husband and I decided to go grab dinner here. And we are sooooo thankful that we did. This is a no frill restaurant when it comes to the decor or ambience. It’s a small place with about 7-8 tables. But the food is amazing!!! It reminded me of home. And not because my mom cooked these same dishes at home, but because the food was simple but fresh and packed with flavor. We started with BOLANI KACHALOO and BOLANI KADOO which were basically thin flatbreads stuffed with mashed potatoes and squash respectively. The one with mashed potatoes stole the show for me and had just the right mix of spices and herbs.Amongst entrees the BONJAN BORANI was superb. The eggplant was cooked to perfection and the sauce that it was cooked in was flavorful. The other entree that we got was the CHICKEN KARAHI. The chicken was soft and succulent and went well with the Tandoori flatbread.Another highlight of the meal was the BAKLAVA! I’ve had a lot of Baklavas till date, and this one definitely makes it to my top 3 list.On the whole, we had a fantastic meal here and will be definitely going back for more and more and more!
Delicious food, affordable and really nice people.
Eggplant, creamy, succulent, really tasty. Chicken in tomato- divine, likedelicate morsels of creamy goodness, stuffed bread with potato just the right amount of chewy huge portion . Baklava was simply killer. We enjoyed every bite and nearly had to roll out of our chairs.
