My husband usually goes to Denica’s for brunch since they have a good mix of breakfast and lunch items so we went there for one last weekend. There’s both Mexican and American food here with super delicious sandwiches, salads, burritos and fresh soups. It’s a busy location on the weekends with a casual atmosphere and self seating.This is what we had:PESTO FLORENTINE – Sauteed baby spinach, tomatoes, whote onions, pesto and melted provolone, the omelette had a lot of flavor but lacked a little spice. Came with the perfectlycooked chunky pieces of potatoes on the side with slices of toast.BELGIAN WAFFLE – The waffle had a nice soft texture and a dollop of whipped cream in the middle. The maple syrup was also good with just the right amount of sweetness.While waiting for your food, do not forget to get chips and salsa from the SALSA BAR. It’s hidden, but it’s free and the salsa is good.Last but not the least, THE COOKIES. Free samples in line – they were big, soft baked, and the perfect sweet treat after your meal. Overall I enjoyed the food at Denica’s and would like to go back for more except for the cleanliness aspect of the place which needs a little more attention.
