Underwhelmed. I had the Chicken Udon here today, and I can’t honestly say I’m a fan. The grilled teriyaki flavor took away from the rest of the dish, and while the spiciness wasn’t a problem at first, the dish was large enough that it had a sort of cumulative effect over time; with each bite the spiciness built up a bit more, until it overwhelmed everything else.It wasn’t bad. But it was disappointing. That being said, I plan on coming back here to try the sushi, because I hear it’s pretty incredible, and I’m not such a grump that I’m going to let a bowl of Udon damage my opinion of a place.
