We were out shopping last weekend at Diamond Boulevard and dropped in at Ike’s for quick lunch especially because they have a lot of vegetarian options. Their menu looked really interesting with a lot of their dishes named after movie stars.We grabbed seats outside since it was a nice and sunny day. I ordered for the CONCORD PAVILION which is a Concord exclusive sandwich with some vegan fried chicken, jack and a spicy willow sauce. This along with their dirty sauce, tomatoes and tomatoes made one delicious sandwich that I finished within minutes. The French Bread seemed fresh and had a crispy, crunchy crust.I also tried the sandwich that my husband got. It was RINA (something)… I don’t really recollect the full name but it was not as great. Not really the best combination. Also, it was supposed to have avocados but they were missing. We had to go back and get his sandwich replaced and they didn’t seem very sorry for their mistake. The service was a slight disappointment.I’ll probably be skipping this one and visiting one of their other outlets when craving for some nice sandwiches.
