Had an order of the Small Burrito (~$6): full-size burrito with beans, rice, cheese (if desired), & pico de gallo (upon request) wrapped in a choice of tortilla (small surchage for wheat). Food was delicious, staff was determined (answering questions despite being busy & helping to correct an oversight with respect to a forgotten Jarritos), and the ambiance was accessible (i.e. open late!).
The salsa bar is a very cool feature. And they only require a $4 minimum purchase for chips and salsa. So the prices are ver affordable. The service and friendly family atmosphere is also what should be expected from a locally owned taqueria. The aquas frescas were also great. I had the watermelon and with my free refill, hibiscus. Cleanliness need to be addressed. It felt a bit unclean. Also, the was just ok. Not special or great and with sooooo many Mexican spots choose from, something needs to stand out.
