Not bad but not great either. I cook a better steak for a lot cheaper. Service wad very good as we were the only ones there 🙂 sides were tastey but thier iced tea tasted grassy 🙁 Glad we tried but the building just killed it. It’s more like wannabe fine dinning in a warehouse.

I had the best possible time. The atmosphere was absolutley invigorating; both engaging conversation, service, and drinks. I would heartily recommend 8 steers to any customer in search of either fine cuisine, or a drink at the bar; either way, a wonderul expirience provided by a lovely staff.17 Feb, 2009It was amazing. The first time I ate there I had fish and it was so fresh. The second time I had a steak that literally melted in my mouth. I’m definitly looking forward to go back.

Wonderful experience. Fench onion soup was perfect and the roasted veg & currie soup was very good. The staff went the extra mile and made the whole experience worthwhile. The ribeye steak was mouth watering and worth the money.

A quiet little place….. Great food, great service, great ambiance! Connie (the Owner) came over and introduced us to her menu, discussed how she came up with the name of the restaurant, and her Mom (who helps run the kitchen). Had a great, great, great dinner, highly recommend the Chilean Sea Bass (Yum!!!), and the Kobie sliders!!! Great value and one of the best secret places to dine in Santa Ana / Costa Mesa.
