Charlie Palmers is no longer in business in Costa Mesa at South Coast Plaza. It was too expensive and not warm and inviting. The attached bar was often taken over by a quite young and not particularly friendly crowd.
This is a great restaurant. I like their food and their service, but curiously enough I do like their take on burgers. It is a great place to have lunch when you are shopping.
Charlie Palmers has closed! And to be replaced with yet another hamburger place. How many can a city have? When it does open I’ll give it a try and review it. The new place will be called Holstein.
Great lunch menu, food is always fresh and delicious. Great setting while we enjoyed a champagne before ordering. They always have a lovely salmon dish/special. Relaxing and enjoyable.
