Choices don’t compensate quality. I walked in, overwhelmed by the sugar-glace bread aromas and by all of the fanciful Halloween creations. It certainly is impressive when you first walk in, but up close, I was a bit unimpressed by the quality of some of their baked goods. I tried the danishes and some of the cookies. I felt like I was eating lard out of a can in Santa Ana. It was not a good feeling. These are not quality ingredients, and some of the pastries are a bit sloppy. There is no zest, they are just large and presented in variety to offer maximum choices, which is good. Upon taste of these each, the cookies, danishes and more, I was unimpressed by all of them. I can make better, even large-scale. Come here for variety, not quality.
