Throw Back to the 60’s. This a quaint neighborhood sandwich shop. The place always seems to be crowded, which is a good indication how good the food is. The sandwiches are much better than the chain restaurants (Subway). I had the traditional Italian sub sandwich, which was very good. The place also seems to support local sports. There are numerous photographs, awards, plaques. thanking the place for supporting the team. Another good reason to support this place.

My friends all like the meat sandwiches alot as well. Also if you are a orange coast college student go there for they support most of the teams and clubs on campus.
Wow!. The rolls at Lil’ Pickle are unbelievable. Soft and chewy and slightly warm. Highly recommend this gem. Note that they are cash only, but you can use your receipt from the on-site atm for a free drink… which mostly offsets the $2 atm charge.
This is my absolute favorite sandwich place to go to. It’s fantastic.
