Marrakesh has been in Newport Beach for many decades. It may be the only occasion you have to try Moroccan food. Over the years the menu hasn’t changed much. So this is not a place you’d go every month looking for new items to try. Most people go with the traditional feast or one of the variations of that. It’s a great way to go as you get a full meal from appetizer through to dessert. Service has always been good here, but you shouldn’t think of it as a fast meal. This is a meal to experience and enjoy like an adventure. It’s like traveling via food. Most nights they have a belly dancer to add to the fun. It’s a great place for large groups. It’s a different experience for many people and everyone has a good time. They have spaces to accommodate large groups.

Fabulous. Marrakesh was my first introduction to Moroccan & I thought the food / atmosphere & service was amazing. Highly recommend the Bastilla Filo, was definitely my stand out dish for the night.

Excellent Food. Marrakesh is a great place to come with a group of people where you’ll be treated to unique decor, a fun atmosphere, belly dancers, and excellent food. The only real choice on the menu is your main dish as all meals come with various appetizers and soups standard with the meal. The Harira Soup is amazing, the Eggplant Salad is great served with Bread, and the Bastilla is really unique and amazingly good. I was impressed with how flavorful all the meats were and even the Couscous was very moist and flavorful. A really unique and memorable meal in O.C. especially with a group of friends.
