  If you’re looking for a place that sells Japanese items, Mitsuwa Marketplace is the place! They have everything from- Japanese groceries,- Japanese magazines/ books, music,- Car and home accessories- Travel assistance to asia (including overseas phones)- Japanese beauty supplies, including a huge Shishedo area. and, my favorite, a magnificent food court, covering all of the Japanese comfort food needs, from udon, ramen, curry, katsu, dessert, and sushi.In the market area, they have a bakery and a pre packaged food area. Its perfect if you don’t have time to eat at the food court, and need something quick to heat up at home or work. They also provide chopsticks and soy sauce at the check out counter.If you come here on weekends, you’ll get to try samples of Asian food that you won’t find at a common American store. Seriously, when’s the last time you got a sample of sea cucumber or spicy tofu at Ralphs? Over here, its the norm to try Asian cuisine samples with a set up like Costco.The downside is the parking. The parking lot is small and the spaces are narrow. They do have an underground, but its also pretty small. Its even worse during the holidays, or when they have a celebration on the weekends. The other downside is they close relatively early, like 8:30 pm. So plan your day accordingly and bring patience if you need to get your fix on Japanese goods. callmemochelle.com
