Great. Inventive menu, awesome bloody mary, well executed. The breakfast menu breaks into sweet/savory and otherwise is well thought out. Only complaint is the portions are too large, but that’s totally forgivable at brunch/breakfast.
Incredible food, cool atmosphere.
Very slow service. In spite of the very good food, our experience at the Old Vine Cafe was marred by horrible service. We arrived at 6:30 (party of 3), and ordered two appetizers and three entrees. The appetizers arrived about 20 minutes later; the entrees finally came at 8:10! We ordered the steak, seared scallops and polenta, not exactly time-consuming to cook! We had hopes that when we ordered coffee and one desert they would come quicker as our server realized we had been waiting so long for our main meal – no luck! It took at least another 10 minutes for one coffee and desert to arrive. One would imagine that they would offer a complimentary glass of wine or dessert (as they did with the nearby table) – not a chance! Needless to say, we won’t be returning.
This was such a cool hip find!!!! Had the chile verde quiche toooo die for! Sangria great! Kids had cinnamon roll good stuff! Pistachio spread for toast was awesome!!! Just the best place ever!! We beat the crowd got there at 10 am on Sunday party of 8…by 11 am very crowded! Worth the wait! Plenty of space to wait and sit
