I’d be a liar if I didn’t say the hospitality was great. The servers were so aware and friendly and willing. They explained the menu but the food for me was not what I expected. It might be an acquired taste. I did not enjoy it. Too much soy sauce. Noodles were not good. The pork tasted like turkey. The fermented bamboo not my liking. If you’re into it then go. It just wasn’t my cup of tea.
Top Ramen in the OC. Yep. As a ramen lover I can now say this is my favorite ramen in OC and top five overall. While nothing beats Monta Noodle house in Vegas this one is extremely good. Tonkatsu ramen brooth is the specialty here. Rich some what fatty with dense flavor of pork. Side dishes are nothing special but passable. They are now offering a new chicken/fish based brooth that is supposedly less fatty and lighter. I keep meaning to try it but I don’t want to give up my favorite tonkatsu soup.
