Swooned with pleasure today. Server Janise(?)was very helpful and knowledgeable about the oyster varieties. The chowder was superb and a bit black peppery. The clams and sausage was perfection with bread to drag thru the broth. The grilled cheese made my daughter very happy! Tried a single oyster(my first) and the server helped me choose best one for newbies. Overall was VERY pleased. My only suggestion is to mark which dishes are app portions and which are large plates. Hard to tell from pricing. Loved my meal!!

We love seafood and have been at many oysterbars.Went here with my wife for mothersday and had to apologize to her for bringing her at this place.# 1 Way overpriced and overrated!#2 servers were rude and on my question if they had Tobasco for my clam chowder the answer was : no we make eveything in house thus take it or leave it!# 3 We had each a glass of white wine which tasted more like a $0.50 than the outrages price of $ 10.00THUS HERE IT IS WE WILL NEVER GO BACK THERE AND TELL OUR FRIENDS NOT TO GO EITHER..
Best Chowder west of the Mississippi. Shuck has the best clam chowder west of the Mississippi. Reminds me of the chowder I have in Boston. Order with a grilled cheese to share/dunk. Great for a quick lunch. Friendly staff. Infused cucumber water is great.
Clam chowder is good. Wish I would have received the oysters we ordered. A bit ridiculous when you’re sitting at the bar where they’re shucking them.
