Stopped by here with a group of friends for lunch and was pleased. It seemed a bit on the pricey side for tacos but everything was pretty tasty. The only downside is parking in the entire complex is sort of a nightmare.

Don’t eat here unless you are extremely adventurous and have money to burn. I am adventurous but so upset that I spent $60 on tacos to only like 2 of them. And please don’t waste your money on the taco plate that includes rice and beans because the rice is watery and undercooked and the beans taste like dirt. Oh and the homemade potatoes chips taste like burnt dirt. The only tacos that were delicious were the loaded baked potato and the short rib. One more thing, customer service is horrible and the person that rang me up was a complete moron that over charged me and took him forever to figure out how to fix my order and still got everything wrong. I will never return.

Very very cool place. Just got back from Mexico and I can honestly say this is the best Mexican I have ever had! The guy working was super chilled and very helpful. Wish I lived in OC to go back. Best and least wankiest place at the Camp! Get the chili pork taco (if you like spice).

What can u say these are some very adventurous tacos. The pork belly, duck, and octopus were more than likely the best tacos I’ve yet to cram down my throat. I tried to eat them calmly but their deliciousness would not allow for such a demeanor. Their sauces were flavorful yet intensely spicy. They have a peaceful ambiance, a very friendly staff, and a great beer selection. This is one of my favorites in OC.

Spicy Taco!. Upon our arrival, the decor is as expected in The Camp – cool, trendy and urban. When we entered the restaurant, I announced to our red headed host (didnt catch his name) that my girlfriend and I were Taco Asylum virgin…he was awesome! Sometimes these ultra trendy places can be a bit intimidating… he set us at ease and gave us recommendations. Im a vegetarian so had the mushroom and curried paneer tacos, my girlfriend, the pork belly. Tacos had good flavor, and the hot sauce was killer. Loved the chips – soaked in beer overnight and spiced wtih chili. With that said, as other reviewers expressed, it’s not your typical taco place. Love that the menu is limited, that means that they arent trying to do too much (no masters of none here) and the quality of the food is great, but they do have some interesting offerrings… to say the least. And the prices aren’t cheap: 4 Tacos+ 2 Beers+ Chips= $40This will be a place I visit again…especially during happy hour!

Tasty Gourmet Tacos….. Yummy !. Tried Three of the Eight Taco types. Octopus and Duck Taco’s are Five Star pleasers. Pork Belly was just O.K. Great line up of Craft Beers on Tap and in the Frig. I will be back, this is a slam dunk place. In and Out quickly.
