Green Salad with Creamy Dressing. Best blue cheese
WOW. 1st time to ths restaurant. Loved it! Cheesy bread is a hit as was the cheesy butter on the baked potato. My ribeye steak (special) was fantastic!!! One of the best steaks I have ever had. Yes, it is a little dark inside and a little pricey for such a casual place but… I loved it and plan on going back again. Service was friendly and accomodating.
Everything went flawless the waiters were awesome. And cute lol will definitely tell friends to go there.
I grew up on this area and never have ben to this place. This is some good food, deffinitly worth the price. The service was awesome and they make the most savory bread you will ever eat.
Pace yourself here unless you have a huge stomach. You can get full on the peanuts, lettuce, drinks and bread. And that’s before the main meal. Great rustic atmosphere and friendly staff complete this dining experience.
Awesome Steak Place. Okay, this has to be the place where your arteries harden and almost clog as soon as you walk in the door. You don’t even have to eat anything to know that high cholesterol could possibly be in your near future. I’m saying this for a few items on the menu. Okay, make that most of the items on the menu.For starters is the cheese bread. It’s sourdough goodness with Clearman’s special cheese/butter spread that is so oily and cheesy that you just can’t stop yourself from eating more. Secondly, there is the overly large baked potato that you can order with the house whipped butter (again a special blend of butter and cheese). Finally, there is the iceberg salad with huge chunks of blue cheese and dressing. What’s not to love about blue cheese. :)The food here is absolutely awesome. It’s pretty much everything that is a guilty pleasure to me. The beef chunks were very tender at a medium rare cooking, the breaded scallops were tasty, the halibut was nice and flaky, and the chicken made for a great leftover lunch today.The menu is very simple and so is this establishment. It’s not trying to be pretentious or upscale. It’s a very casual place. You know the kind with sawdust on the floor and peanuts in the shell in bowls scattered throughout the restaurant.You’re not going to leave this place feeling hungry. If you do, there is seriously something wrong with you. In fact, you should probably have leftovers to take home with you.This will definitely be on a list of places to go back to one day.
