Like Being Back in Japan!. You don’t just go there for the cheap prices, which by other Japanese restaurant standards are REALLY CHEAP! If you can get in and sit down, you are graced with the wonders of watching a truly Japanese style Mom and Pop ‘hole in the wall’ mini restaurant going at full speed. There’s a mind boggling full assortment of items to choose from while you watch the sole master chef whip out many dishes at once, while the wife and daughter take and serve orders. Like being back in Kumagawa (Fussa) Japan where I lived with my wife and children for three years. The sushi may not be the highest grade, but so what. Being there is an amazing experience! Spoiler alert: Many times we just order over the phone loads of dishes and sushi for take out.. You can feed your whole family with every Japanese dish they desire very cheaply!
Tiny but authentic. Reminds me of the little mom & pop eateries that littered my neighborhood in Tokyo. My favorites are the oyako-donburi , katsu-donburi, and the chicken karaage. It’s my kind of ‘home-cooking’
