The service is impeccable with Terry anticipating our every need. Great 05 Cabernet paired with a wild rice and lamb shank that fell of the bone, beet salad and trio gelato dessert. The ambiance is quiet and intimate with a very friendly wait staff. Don’t the the young chef fool you, his food is something you will keep coming back for!
Amber Bistro has some of the best food in the bay! Yes it is a little pricey but it is well worth the expense. The small yet modern atmosphere is comfortable but very up scale. The bread is fresh baked and is delicious! Their calamari is not greasy like most places have and the dipping sauce for it is, although unexpected and out of the ordinary, is a perfect pair to the calamari. Their menu changes seasonally and I have yet to have dessert there but I don’t think i’ve had anything there that I have not liked!
